3 Must-Have Essential Oils for Stress Relief

If you only buy 3 essential oils, you must purchase eucalyptus, lavender, and peppermint.

Use eucalyptus oil to breathe easier. Boil water and let it cool down some. Pour the water into a bowl. Grab and towel, drape it over your head, and bend over the bowl. Breathe in and out. You can also 2 drops to a tablespoon of olive or coconut oil and rub it on your chest for congestion relief.

Lavender is the ultimate stress reliever. There are many uses for lavender. You can add a few drops to your bath water, or to your pillow before you go to bed. Or you can make a homemade coconut oil lotion.

Put 8 ounces of coconut oil in your mixer. Mix it on high for 5-7 minutes until it whips up into peaks. Slowly add about 10 drops of lavender essential oil and 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Continue to mix for another minute or so, then pour into your favorite container. Use it after a nighttime shower for sweet dreams.

Yummy peppermint can soothe even the most tired feet. Just add a few drops to a warm foot bath and soak until the water runs cold. You can also put 2 drops on your finger and then rub it into your temples for headache relief, but the catch is that you must perform this at the very beginnings of the headache in order for it to work.

There are many other uses for these 3 essential uses, and none of them require a lot of time or ingredients.

The next time you feel yourself getting stressed, reach for an essential oil and relax.
