My 6 year old is a Princess fanatic! Fanatic, I say! Not only is she a fashionista, she is a Disney Princess fashionista. She told me so herself. And next weekend, we’re inviting over some friends for our very own Princess party. She. Can’t. Wait. And I’m a little bit excited as well, if I do say so myself. We’re inviting the girls over and they’re all wearing princess costumes. And the girls will all get to watch the new Cinderella movie together. They will have their very own movie viewing party.

But before we went to Walmart we downloaded the Disney Princess Royal Ball Augmented Reality App. On the app the girls go to choose their outfits for the Royal Ball, from a crown and a necklace, to a dress and shoes. Then they picked out a carriage and headed on over to the ball. The girls had a good time playing with the app at home, in the car, and at Walmart. We looked for trigger points in the store, but didn’t find any. It’s likely because the new Cinderella Blu-Ray/DVD movie won’t be released on DVD until October 2nd, and that’s when all the displays will all over the store.

So we headed to Walmart to get party favors and decorations. Courtney also found the perfect dress for her princess party. She’s already hung it in the closet and is literally counting down the days until her friends come over. Big sister said she’s staying in her bedroom until the food comes out. We’ll see about that; I don’t think she wants to miss the activities .

Walmart Disney Princess Retailtainment Event
On October 6th we’ll head back to Walmart for their Disney Princess event. If you’re available and want to surprise your little princess, you should go too. There will be pumpkin decorating, coloring sheets, and interactive activities. Oh, and don’t forget to dress up your favorite princess in her favorite princess dress.
